Silvia Lorenzini is an Italian Colombian Director and Producer.
Her first feature film, My Way or the Highway, a family documentary based on a motorcycle road trip, won several production awards and premiered at the 2017 International Film Festival of Cali, Colombia.
Her last videoclip, Tío Guachupesito (Cerrero remix) by Canalón de Timbiquí, won the Best National Videoclip award at the 2019 BOGOSHORTS Short Film Festival.
She lived for 15 years in Europe, where she collaborated with musicians and other artists to create videos in a range of techniques and formats (art videos, fashion films, animated brand videos, among others).
She currently lives in Santa Marta, Colombia, where she prepares a fictional short film, The Dark Being that I Live In, and develops the screenplay of her next fictional feature film, Saltwater Woman, winner of the Script Writing Grant from the FDC (National FIlm Fond) in 2021.
